First Student Exchange in Pet Care Industry
Making the student's educational experience the most fulfilling that it can be, coupled with their desire to internationalize industry standards, it was a natural for John Nash and Masahiro and Naoko Tsujihara to create a foreign exchange program for students of the Nash Academy and the Sepia School of Dog Grooming.

About
This exchange of students, skills, theoretical concepts, together with cross cultural experience the exchange program provides for students, is an exciting innovation in the grooming school industry. The exchange provides students with a rare opportunity to discover both cultural similarities in grooming and cultural differences in lifestyle.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Nash Practical Skills Exchange Program,student must have completed Nash Academy Dog Grooming and Styling Diploma Program with a grade point average of 92 or higher, and must enter exchange within 12 months of graduation from Nash Diploma Program. Student must give exchange school a three (3) month notice to allow exchange school to properly prepare for exchange. Students who participate are selected on grooming skills and personal qualities, and must exhibit a willingness to experience and accept a new culture, foods and customs, and be the embodiment of the Nash philosophy.

Germany
Karin Kretschmer is one of the foremost grooming and styling authorities in Germany. Karin offers instruction to a maximum of four students at a time in her school in Frankfurt, Germany. KK School of Dog Grooming offers a wonderful opportunity for Nash graduates. Students will learn the fine points of grooming and styling in Germany for up to one month. Students can stay in an apartment in an historic section of Frankfurt during the exchange. www.groomerschule.de

Japan
The Sepia Pet Care School is one of the most highly regarded dog grooming schools in the world. The Japanese Exchange, established in 1984 by John Nash and Masahiro and Naoko Tsujihara, has given many Nash and Sepia graduates the opportunity of a lifetime. Eligible Nash graduates have the opportunity to spend up to one month abroad at the Sepia School studying the Japanese style of grooming. During their stay, the Nash exchange student will stay in the Sepia Apartments. The Sepia Exchange students stay in the Nash Apartments during their course of study. Nash graduates who successfully complete this exchange program will be licensed to groom by the Japanese Kennel Club (JKC). www.sepia-pet.com.
