Michelle Campione
Director of Admissions, Nash Academy, New Jersey
Michelle has been Director of Admissions at the Nash Academy in New Jersey for only a year, but it seems to be the job she was destined for. She has been an animal lover her entire life: involved with 4-H as a child, riding horses since she was five years old, a volunteer at her local animal shelter, and a pet owner herself, of three cats. Michelle met Joey Villani at the animal shelter, when she was coordinating the grooming of shelter dogs by the Nash Academy, and Joey recognized her extraordinary commitment to the lives of the animals she worked with.
Michelle continues to volunteer at the local animal shelter, transporting animals for grooming, fostering bottle babies for the shelter, and doing as much rescue work as she can. Another member of the Nash family, Michelle readily expresses her gratitude to the Nashes and Joey Villani, for allowing her to work at a job that corresponds so well with her passion for animals, and for making the pet care professions a better place for animals everywhere.
