With a background as a novelist, journalist, advertising copywriter and college professor, Roberta Smoodin now lives and works on a small Thoroughbred horse farm in the Bluegrass area of Kentucky. Always an animal lover, her interest in her horses, dogs and cats currently define her life. Because of her love for animals and background in writing and teaching, she brings her lifetime experience to the Nash Academy in an attempt to make its curriculum as pertinent and compassionate in its dealings with companion animals as possible.
