Tanya Nash
Director / President
Tanya has played an active role at Nash Academy, Kentucky, for nearly a decade. Protege (and daughter) of Vivian and John Nash, Tanya now is the Director and President of the Nash Academy Kentucky. Having grown up in the dog grooming industry, Tanya, with a strong dedication and bond to the industry, is a proficient and inspiring teacher of dog grooming and styling, and has been involved as well in the development of a detailed salon safety certificate program, the first of its kind in the dog grooming and styling profession.
Tanya is a member of the International Judges Association for Dog Grooming Competition as a Contest Ring Coordinator. Her interests, outside of her profound love of animals, particularly her two Longhaired Chihuahuas and her new kitten, include gymnastics, pilates, and all types of exercise and physical conditioning, and through this she has been instrumental in developing for the Nash Academy proper posture and body placement for the working pet care professional to prolong careers and prevent injury.
