Credit Hours - 42 Quarter Credit Hours
Time to Complete - 4 to 11 months, depending upon the number of online courses taken per month.
Each online course takes one month to complete. Students can elect to take up to 4 online courses per month. Upon successful completion of the nine online courses, students must then complete the practical portion of the program onsite.
These practical application courses take 360 Clock Hours to complete. Students attending 40 clock hours per week will complete this course in 9 weeks. The following grooming procedures are included: the practical application of all technical skills necessary to groom and style Man's Best Friend. The correct methods of care of the dog's eyes, ears, nose, feet, and brushing teeth will be taught and practiced. Dog bathing, brushing and drying techniques will be practiced daily, including the proper products, tools, and techniques to use on different coat types. You will also be instructed in removing excessive coat to create many different styles using different tools, products, and techniques including clippering, thinning, scissoring, handstripping, carding and deshedding. You will practice creating balance, symmetry, and proper expression, as well as learning how to avoid creating faults.

This is the total package in dog grooming and styling education. A comprehensive online theory portion, followed up with an intense practical application portion, will give you the ability to groom and style dogs in a typical dog grooming and styling salon environment, using the compassionate, safe and gentle Nash methods.Credit Hours - 42 Quarter Credit Hours
